Meet the Alumni
Mattea Wabeke
Class of 2019
From Mattea: "right now I am doing freelance photography and content creation in Chicago and DSP helped me network all four years of college but most of all it gave me a bunch of friendships that will last a lifetime!"
Jake Hendrick
Class of 2019
From Jake:
What I am doing now: I am currently in grad school at Arizona State University pursuing my Masters of Accounting and Data Analytics in sponsorship with KPMG. Following this program, I will begin as an Audit Associate at KPMG Chicago’s office.
DSP impact: DSP helped me grow professionally and socially through surrounding myself with like-minded individuals. I think the community was really impactful on my career as it showed me how to be a part of a team as well as gave me opportunities to be a leader through being President and VP of Professional Activities. DSP gave me an experience that was meaningful and will follow me through my career and life – I am always meeting people at work who are fellow brothers! It’s a great way to make a connection with someone.
Evan Bloch
Class of 2019
Evan Bloch is a Class of 2019 graduate of the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business with degrees in Marketing and International Business. He pledged DSP during the spring semester of his first year at SLU in order to feel more connected to the business school and meet people who had similar interests and goals. While in DSP, Evan attended several LEAD conferences, acted as the Marketing Chair and the VP of Fundraising, and took on a little nearly every semester!
Although he thought that he would walk away from DSP with a lot of professional connections, he gained something more valuable - like-minded friends who continue to push him and inspire him daily. These are the best professional connections of all!
Evan currently lives and works in Manhattan as a Paid Social Analyst at Havas Media. In his role as an Analyst, he builds social media strategies, targeting, and campaigns in order to help his client share their message across social media platforms with paid advertisements.
